I believe...
Here's my story... After I graduated from highschool my parents split. I became really depessed and I stopped eating. I got very sick. I went to the hospital and I had medicine prescribed to me. One night I was sleeping and I felt really bad. I hadnt taken my medicine for a couple of days. I didnt want to get out of bed to take it even though I needed. I opened my eyes and I looked towards the hallway and I saw my grandfather (my mom's dad) standing in the doorway (he died 3 years earlier) I saw only the upper portion of his body. He said to me " you better take your medicine or u'll be here with me" He didnt actually speak but I heard him speaking "in my head" I got out of bed so quick and took that freaking medicine. I never saw him or any other ghost after that. I told my mom and she told me she saw him the day I went to the hospital "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

I also believe, I saw my mom who died 3 months before...One night I was sitting alone in my livingroom watching tv, it was late at night and all of a sudden my mom was in the room with me.
It was really strange because we started talking like we used to do (meaning talking a lot ) but after a while i realized that i was talking my mom who past away and I asked her: Mom, how is this possible? She looked at me, hugged me, turned me around and said: go, you don't belong her That's now 8 years ago and I sometimes still think abt it

I've posted this story in previous threads, so I apologize to any of you who've read it before.
However, it's the God-honest thruth; About 2 years ago, my wife and I were downstairs watching TV. Around 11:00pm we heard what sounded like crying from the kids' room. I went upstairs to check (thinking one of them had wet the bed or something). I went in, and discovered that my daughter (2yrs old at the time) was actually giggling in bed. Not just giggling...she was coyishly laughing and peeking in and out of her covers. I asked her what was wrong...and she just pointed towards a corner of the (dark) bedroom. And for a while, she kept at it - pointing at the corner, peeking in and out of her covers, and giggling shyly, as if someone was making her laugh. Needless to say, the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end when I realized the implications. I have heard that pets and young children are supposed to be able to see "spirits" or "ghosts". I tucked her in, kissed her goodnight, and went back downstairs. I told my wife that someone was possibly visiting the kids. It continued for nearly half an hour. The following morning, my wife received a call that her (estranged) grandfather had passed away during the night...around 11:00pm. Now, I must also mention that my daughter was NOT the type of kid you could easily elicit a smile from. Also, none of my 3 kids have ever exhibited this type of behavior before or after this incident, EVER. So there you have it. I dare the non-believers to dismiss this as some sort of "coincidence". Thai people tend to believe that all houses are home to spirits. They put spirit houses outside the house, which are supposed to be more comfortable and attractive than the actual house so that the spirit can live there. However, it is seen as quite normal for the spirit to be in the house as it's job is to protect the house and the people living there.
We had a friend of my wife's brother come to stay in the middle room. There is only a curtain as a wall on one side and outside this the landing and stairs. This means u can hear anything pretty easily. This guy said in the morning that he heard footsteps up and down the stairs in the middle of the night, yet neither my wife or I went downstairs in the night to go to the bathroom. My wife's parents have both seen the ghost, which is apparently just a smoky, vague figure, though I never have. However, I have felt something peculiar about the air on several occasions when going to the bathroom late at night. The best I could describe it would be to get u to imagine feeling someone walking near u but not hearing them or seeing them. The air obviously moves slightly and there's just an odd feeling of someone being there. The lady who lives next door has also told us that when nobody has been at home she's heard someone walking around, opening doors and things. We don't have any pets so that's kinda weird. I'm not one given to this kind of thing easily and I can't say I've seen a ghost in this house, but I've definitely felt something very strange, although to be honest I didn't feel particularly scared, just odd.

I used to live in this old apartment building in Chicago in the Old Town neighborhood. My roommate and I lived on the 4th floor--which is the top. Shortly after we moved in, we came home late from drinking one night walked in the apartment buildings front door and could hear music playing. It was around 4am and, yes, we were both drunk but we both said who the hell would be playing music that late. As we walked upstairs towards our apartment, we both realized that the music was getting louder and by the time we got outside our door, the music was blaring and it was coming for our apartment. When we walked in all the lights were on and every electrical appliance was on. I mean our microwave, my stereo, tv, computers...everything. we both thought the other one did it to freak the other out. But we left together and were together all night. No one else had our key except the off-site management company. Once we got everything off I started cracking up (again, we both were pretty lit) because my jock/tough guy roommate started crying because he thought he saw a shadow in his room right after he turned off the light.
The next morning I asked our mainentance guy if he could check our place for electrical shorts...since I immediately thought the electric in the building was probably old and could be the reason everything was on. He said no, but that stuff goes on and off in the whole building all the time, doors slam, there are cold spots in the middle of summer, footsteps heard, and just to ignore it. Eventually everyone starts to just live with it. He told me they used the building as a temp morgue back in the early 1900s when some ship (the Eastland or something?) capsized and a ton of people drowned. We lived there for 6 years and sure enough stuff happened all the time that we couldn't explain (however, we never saw anymore shadows...I think that was Senior Tequilla). After a couple months after living there it became no big deal and it was kinda cool. A friend brought over a ouija board and some of my other friends tried it ( I didn't). Of course everyone was drinking and made a big joke out of it...but the one non-drinker there said the thing moved by itself and they confimred the ghosts were from the ship. Who knows??

Yes.
I've seen many weird things. The weirdest one probably being a "shared" sighting with a group of friends when we saw a man walk across a lake at night. First every single one of us went silent and we just all stared. Until finally someone said: "Please tell me you all see that". That spooked me out. The apparition somehow disolved into thin air before it reached us. Funny enough, we had NOT used drugs that night, for a change and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

'Do you believe in Ghosts? Have you ever seen a Spirit or Ghost?'
I don't BELIEVE in such forms of spirituality....I don't have to believe because I know it exists. Believing is conceding that you don't really know. So ask yourself.....do you know what you believe in?
