That's right!!!!! You'll have to survive without me for about a week.
I leave for the Gold Coast on Wednesday 13th October and get back home on Monday 18th.

Here you get it at a place called Sonic-it's a drive-in place, and it's a great drink.

It's a mixture of cherry syrup and lime juice-which by itself can be way too strong.

But if you take that and put it over Sprite, it's delicious.

At the grocery store I buy Cherry Limeade (by Minute Maid) which is just the syrups (shake it up good), and pour a glass full of Sprite (usually Diet so it isn't too sweet).

Then I add the Cherry Limeade to it, and it's delicious.

Must be cold, and when you order from Sonic they usually put a couple cherries in there, but from home it's just as good to me.

I also make my own salsa and Orange Julius (not together of course).

Maybe you should look around, it may be more of a southern thing, but Cherry Limeade is not only delicious, it is very refreshing on a hot summer's day-even if not out of a penguin's belly button.

I love Orange Julius too..... they are few and far between in the midwest.....

Orange Julius is pretty easy to make though, they're pretty few and far between here-but making my own is easy and simple.

All it is is vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream (I'd go for ice cream mostly for taste, but up to you).

Buy some Minute Maid orange juice (I've found for me at least it's the most Orange Julius kind of flavor).

Scoop out some into either a blender or what I use is like a hand milkshake maker (Yeah yeah, haha, guys.).

Pour the oj over that and use the hand milkshake maker or the blender (make sure you're keeping it still a little thick but smooth) and enjoy!

Easy to make, fun, all that.
