Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Who else is waiting for the 26th of October for this game?
I've heard some pc owners are buying PS2s just to be able to play it because they can't wait for the PC release! So what do u think? Have the games since Vice City surpassed GTA? Will another game on a par with VC be good enough or sadly lacking? Will San Andreas improve on Vice City? I'm hoping I can pick up the game a little early in the next couple of weeks.

I already pre-ordered my copy. All the previews say that the game is nothing less than a work of art. I haven't played any game that has surpassed Vice City since it came out (although I was deeply infatuated with "Spider Man 2" and "Manhunt" for a while). "San Andreas" looks like so much fun. I sooooo cannot wait; I haven't been this excited about a video game since the mid-'90s when "Leisure Suit Larry 7" was getting ready to come out.

I've also played DRIV3R, True Crime and a few others while waiting for San Andreas, none of them as good as the GTA games but pretty cool all the same. I'm currently playing Red Dead Revolver while waiting for San Andreas. I'm hoping I'll be able to get a copy of the game early. They sometimes have the copies here a week or so before the official release. Quite how I've no idea.

For those truly in the know about revolutionary gaming, get yourselves a GameCube and buy yourself Metroid Prime and Resident Evil or Resident Evil Zero. There are sequels to both of these coming out soon that are also supposed to be stellar. While you're at it, pick up Viewtiful Joe, another work of art. It was recently unfortunately released for PS2, but that system's slow frame rate and processor speed mean that the game's quality will be compromised. Happy Gaming! Too laborious for my taste. I don't mind a little logic and mental effort but those games are slow and dull.

Makes manhunt look like a gory cartoon. "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. Went down to Phanthip Plaza today but they don't have it yet
I bought Vietcong to tide me over. It's not particularly good but it'll keep me occupied for a bit while I wait. Andy, I think the PC version will come out a good few months after the PS2 version. Sorry buddy. Savoir, pardon my ignorance but I thought the gamecube was aimed at a younger age group. Are there some decent games on it? I guess I've dismissed it rather to hastily. Still can't stand the Resident Evil games, especially Outbreak. Frightfest? Borefest more like.
