 I know all about this, my old dog Ollie had some serious ones when he got older, I put a gate up so he couldn't get into my room and gas me 
My current one has something going on as well, but she always eats  when we're out  | |

When I had my dog Suki.....
She sometimes let me know when she was about....very sneaky and quiet..... 
So I used to eat some of these..... 
Wait a while .....and then let her know who was boss.... 
It usually worked.....and my fuel bills were very low  
a bold edit ...dammit...
and a bad fart edit.....dammit....dammit
