Baked beans are good with brown sugar and bacon. Especially, if you have them with barbeque ribs or any kind of BBQ foods.

Well i gues this is as good a thread as any to tell a slighty bean related story....."beans" is my boyfriends nickname. It started when he had a bunch of white friends over his house as a kid (he's latino) and they didn't understand why the pantry in his kitchen had so much rice and bags of beans in it. They nicknamed him "bean boy" which later got shortened to "beans" and now everyone who hears his nickname thinks its because he too much until I tell them the story.....I hate his nickname for that and many other reasons..... nothing i can do about it now
