This was one of those occassions were someone I didn't even know passing away genuinely saddened me. He was a truly funny man. I loved how he took power away from people who made fun of his looks by poking fun at himself. Just thinking about Rappin' Rodney makes me smile. His appearance in Little Nicki, his part of the roast of Dennis Leary, man..... sad

Excuse me, but I have expressed my sincere 'RIP' earlier on this thread and have never applauded to his passing(come on, really!!). Since when is it wrong to say that I found him to be very unfunny?

This is as close as we're gonna get to expressing our sorrows and respect towards a man we, who clicked on this thread, are going to get. Call it an Org funeral, if you will...

Would you go to a funeral and say, "hey... RIP, but I never liked you anyway."

Why would you go at all... ??? confused

clapping clapping nod
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Jay Leno did a short but sweet montage of his appearances on the "Tonight Show". Over 70 times, Rodney was there. eek

Jay said, "He was truly a funny man, the comedian's comedian, who was always willing to give you a break". He also said we shouldn't be sad, because Rodney lived a long life, and for a man who partied like Rodney, that was longer than he thought he would live!
