Holy fucking shit! That's about all I can say. It's what movie theaters were made for. What Metropolis was trying to be but couldn't.

I cannot believe how much I liked this movie. I expected to enjoy it, but what I did not anticipate was how much I'd love it! It's got boundless creativity on the level of The Wizard of Oz, War of the Worlds, Star Wars and King Kong. What I mean to say is that it's become an instant favorite of mine. I'm sure some people won't love it, but I'm a big fan.

I literally could not take my eyes off the screen. There were so many inventive and amazing sights to be seen. Every time I thought they'd run out of ideas, they surprised me with even more to take in. It's a fast-paced movie that - admittedly - spends more effort on visuals than it does story. Not that the story isn't interesting or fun, because it is. There's enough adventure in the story to carry it from beginning to end, but it's primary aim is to awe you. I'm in awe, and it made me a happy moviegoer!

I'm hopefully going to see it tomorrow! Can't wait!

ooh! my sweetie's all geared up to see this, so this'll give the chances of our going this weekend a little extra OOMPH with that glowing recommendation.

Well, I don't wanna set it up with big expectations, so just go into knowing that somebody liked it

I really want to see this. It's the first time in a while I've heard good things about a movie with Angelina Jolie in it. The reviews have all been very good so far, except for Rolling Stone, who gave it 2 stars. But no one wants to come with me. That's the same reason I didn't go to the Musicology concert. Am I to dependent on other people? I can't be the only person who doesn't like to go to out alone.

Yippy! Glad you guys enjoyed it. I've read reviews from several people/critics who did not enjoy it, but glad to see that you did. I really thought it was breathtaking, and at least on one occasion was so overwhelmed by the wonder of it all that I cried. Then again, I'm an admitted crybaby.
