Wedding time I am in my girlfriends wedding this weekend. We are doing a full Catholic mass. Now this is complicated enough as I am a Protestant and unfamiliar with there formalities. Toss in that the whole thing is in Spanish and I am lost for days.
So last night they called me forward ..... The girls all bump me Karen they called you... I looked alarmed  I didn't here them call me... I heard them say Virgin Mary not Karen...
( I present the flowers the bride takes to Mary.... )
I'm also the lead female..... wish me luck ( Would have been easier had I followed.....) | |

I've only been to one full-on catholic wedding. It was mind-numbing. Three hours of chanting, incense-swinging and atonal moaning.
I don't attend any religious services other than funerals these days. I didn't attend my nephews' christening ceremonies or two of my friends' weddings (although I went to the receptions). | |
