I USED to drink pink lemonade when I was younger But my mom made me promise to never drink snapples ...something about a slave ship I havent had a snapple in years A number of popular urban legends deal specifically with issues of race and have held special interest for African Americans. Like the one about Snapple, the fruit juice company. Erica Alston, a graduating senior at Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts, heard that Snapple was a supporter of the Ku Klux Klan, and consequently stopped drinking the beverage (some proponents of this myth say that the vessel that appears on Snapple's label represents a slave ship). Although many who hear and pass on such myths seem to take them very seriously, such ominous revelations do not always deter consumers from supporting certain companies. Like the stories about Snapple, many urban legends are aimed at specific audiences. Those that endure play on the beliefs, experiences and fears of those they target. However believable some urban legends may seem, this aswell as the vast majority are untrue.

I love fruit drinks and stuff....but I've never been a big fan of Snapple for some reason. The Pink Lemonade is ok and the smoothies. I tried those "Whipper Snapples" a few times. they were ok. I love the Raspberry, Lemon and Peach teas. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
