youre never gonna believe this shit !!! ok, you know my cat is missing, right ?
today i called the number on the posters that are up all over this area for a missing cat, to see if maybe she found her cat, or perhaps she has seen mine... she called me back, and we talked for a while... she told me that her cat wasnt home yet, and that she hadnt seen my cat. we kept talking..she mentioned that she lived near some wooded area, i said, hmm, i live by a wooded area too.... then we realized that she lives just FOUR DOORS DOWN from me, im new here, so i hadnt met her yet... she was shocked to hear that my cat was missing too and mentioned that a woman between us is ALSO missing a cat as of 6 days ago... THATS A TOTAL OF 3 CATS MISSING IN JUST UNDER A WEEK 
while talking to her, she let me know that there was a puma sighting in the woods behind our house.... so, i called the wildlife area people to double check that... they let me know that infact there was a sighting and tests reveal that there was a puma in the area that they never found. so, tomorrow, the news is comming out to do a story, its that either.... there is a wild animal back there eating our cats... OR there are some people out there stealing cats  either way.... its not lookin good 
the news crew asked us to make a police report about it - so we called in... you know what the cops said ???? they said its illegal to have cats outside !!!!!  i said, tell ya what.. you give me a ticket for my dead cat ... and then you come out here and figure out what happened because i personally dont want to be responsible if/when someones child gets hurt or worse. sometimes cops are so damn stupid !!
but, anyway, long story short, im not thinking my cat will be comming home.. and olivia was such a great cat we will miss her terribly.... One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

thanks guys  its rough thinking about not seeing her anymore... she was a big part of our family .... the kids are holding up well.... but, its still real sad, and i feel horrible that i wasnt there to protect her  One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

Is there a big market for stolen cats? 
Sounds like the Puma story is correct... Be careful and watch the kiddies extra close (if ya have any) Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years.
