COLD!

Rode my bike into work this morning, in a slight chill, but I knew from the weather reports that it would be nice when I got out at noon.
Instead winter weather moved in, all day it has been getting colder.
It is like thanksgiving weather now, and in Maine that is cold.
My ride home was hell.
Hands, feet, legs, and chin are numb.
The wind wipped my head all around trying to rip off my helmet.
I hope this is a passing phase, I'd hate to think no motorcycle until spring.
We didn't even really get a summer up here this year.
Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

It's time to take the bus or drive a car.

Otherwise if you ride that bike again - someone will have to defrost you with a hair dryer. giggle

Can't face that yet, maybe if I get a face mask and deny the cold.

I don't mind the cold when I ride my motorcycle.
I usually dress warm, and on top of that I wear a raincoat that can keep you dry in any kind of weather.
Only thing I haven't found yet are gloves that can handle rough weather. all the waterproof gloves will not keep you dry for long, and then your hands freeze.

Thats the absolut worst, I leave the house a little before five, and it's misty, after a while that means I'm damp and freezing (but worth it to have my bike at noon when I get out of work)

You were right, it was great out today, a sweatshirt and jacket were perfect while riding, and I wasn't to hot at stop signs.

clear sky, mountains and the ocean.
I met my wife for lunch and we had pizza at rockland harbor
