I'd dress her as a black cat, i did that to my little girl and she looked so cute, although she was a little younger and was mainly crawling at the time

last year my boyfriend went as elliot smith. he glued a fake knife to his chest and splattered some fake blood on himself.
the hipster kids in the neighborhood didn't find it funny! though, i wouldn't suggest this as a costume for your child, lol!

me and my sister made my neice as a snail one year.. she wanted to go as a snail.. we sewed pillow cases together and stuffed them and swirled them into a shell and put it on her back... and then gave her tenticles.. she was soooo cute.. and we got sooo many compliments.. When my son was 3, I made him a Thomas the Tank Engine costume out of two boxes, an ice cream bucket, a Pringles can, and some spray paint.
