tres organisee or last minute blunder?

Its started again, we haven't even had Halloween yet and already the christmas catalogues are coming throught the letterbox and the stores have the christmas puddings out on display!xmas

Who out there has got christmas totally undercontrol (ie those that go out and get everything for next year in the January sales) ?

Or are most folks like me and still buying pressies on christmas eve?

is anyone beginning to fret and panic over it already? bawl

I usually am done before Thanksgiving, even though there's already Xmas stuff up at department stores NOW!

It's insane-every year things are put out earlier and earlier, but I always do good on shopping-and just do any last minute things people mention in enough time.

I've never had to do the Xmas Eve rush, because I can't stand being in that kinda crowd-I go nuts and start looking for a tazer or something to herd the group away.

I love shopping for people though. It's a nice thing to be able to do-I wrap the stuff, all that kinda thing. I enjoy the creative part of it.

It's nice to be able to surprise somebody you care about.

biggrin

Yeah, i love the whole christmassy feel too, giving and receiving pressies dancing jig
- just wish it all didnt cost so bloody much! pout

My family are arguing like mad just now, my 2 sisters in law mainly.
One wants us all to agree not to buy presents for each others kids (we have 11 between us!) because the cost runs up so much and none of us are particularly well off.
The other does all her shopping in january and thinks we should all buy for each others kids because we know ALL year that christmas is coming and should budget for it!

I can see both points of view, although i'm still paying off last years christmas debt, i couldn't not give my nieces and nephews a little token gift at least. hug
