My Car Accident... If any of you remember, last summer I was in a rather serious car accident...  I got blindsided by a pickup truck which crashed right into the driver's side door, point blank...
Well, today I saw a video of a crash that was practically identical to the one I was in...The truck that hit me was going between 45-50 mph...the truck in this video was going 55mph...check this out: http://www.ifilm.com/vira...id=2650370 The report says the driver of the car that was hit is in critical condition...  I truly feel lucky to have been able to walk out of my car, thanks only to a steel rod that was built into the door and kept my car from caving in on me.

My God! The title of this thread almost gave me a heartattack! I thought you had been in a new wreck! 
I was in a bad car wreck when i was in High School... still freaks me out. I don't think it goes away.  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Oh man, Byron, I had no idea that happened to ya...
It is very traumatic for anyone. I've been in a couple fenderbenders, but I remember being in a pretty serious car accident when I was about 12 yrs old...Mom's ran a stop sign and we got hit on my side...  for your continued safety.Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Wow Byron...all I can say is THANK GOD someone was surely looking over you that day!!
my brother and father, although the accidents were under very different circumstances, both had really really bad accidents last year in which both of them almost lost thier lives...they, too, had someone looking over them  | |

I was rear ended in two different instances years ago. Fortunately I had my seat belt on for both cases. | |

It's a shame about the driver in that other situation, but I'm glad in yours you were ok.
