Alot of the time, I dont have the time to take a full hour and leave the office.

And work, surf, post and eat my lunch all at the same time..

Lunch hour has no meaning for me.

But then I do sometimes take a non working, working lunch and never come back cus I stay in the pub, ocasionally.

Well I am *trying* to take my break now, but ppl ask me stuff or give me more work, so I cant even rexlax when I am eating, PLUS I really need to go to the bank, but to leave the office, I know I will feel really guilty, even though I can - it sucks

I never take a lunch break

no, I never take full lunch break unless my hubby and my girl call in, then we eat out and I love it.

but generally every day I pop to either cornish pasty shop for a delicious sandwich or hit marks and sparks for a tuna pasta, then I take it back 2 work and eat while I do paperwork or research, then whne I am finished ( normally takes 20mins ) I go into the archived cds and sort out then go online and order from suppliers and call who I need 2, BLOODY HELL. thanx Red didnt realise how much I did do in my bloody lunch, flippin eck

Results it has though, I have moved my store cd sales up 30 % in 2 weeks so Im in for a nice bonus .....and I love every minute of my job so I am a lucky lady

Sometimes I never even go out for lunch... I need to break that habit and learn to go and spend some time on myself at lunch... .....

i do. id go crazy if i didnt 45 minutes lunch break.....but thats the only break i take all day

I get a 1/2 hour lunch, but I usually take 40 minutes.

I get an hour.

I bring in sandwiches as buying lunch in Amsterdam center is TRES expensive.

I grab a new mag of the stand (I work in a book store) of my latest book and go up and or talk to colleagues or read.

Every now and then I go out for a walk with stressed out undergraduates.

almost never. like others here, food on the go.

having said that, the thing about my job is that unless i'm in meetings or have crushing deadlines (which i often do ), it doesn't matter if i finish what i'm doing at 3pm or 3 in the morning. So sometimes i can just go for an hour's break whenever i want, which is sweet.

not recently though. busy work sucks.

thankfully i do not get lunch hours cause if i did i would either;
get pissed (that actualy may improve my work)
go shopping for handbags and shoes
eat and eat and eat and eat till i end up like a whale with a skin condition

I actually have to leave to work place in order to get my lunch hour, if I stay I'm working and eating
