Well, a minor celebrity anyway. One of the top 30 from Australian Idol, she didn't make it to the top 12 finalists, but was on TV crying and what not, quite a few times during the lead up. My husband is auditioning singers and she came with her dad to hear the songs. Nice girl, made a big fuss of our kids and my big tummy (I'm due next week OMG!!!).

Yep-when I was little, back when he was popular.

He used to do stage shows where that sledgehammer he's holding was called the Sledge-O-Matic, and he'd smash various things with it-including watermelons.

People in the audience would have to hold plastic bags up so they wouldn't get stuff all over them.

He was sort of like a precursor to Carrot Top, but much better. Sort of.

I met him at an arcade game convention (my dad's in the arcade business-senior vice president of a company here)-and I always used to get to go to those when I was little. I'd see all the cool new games before the were released-met the president of Nintendo who sent me Super Mario Bros. 3 for free, I'd spend Saturdays in my dad's warehouse playing all the games on free play-you know, real only child type stuff.

He had some game based on him that year and I met him.

A bit of an asshole, but I guess he's laughing last now with his massive career, huh?
