Actually 1999.... but we basically still look the same! Mom cut hair- and has been running WAY more then when pic was taken she is top 5 in age in marathons across country!!! Go MOM! and I just grow hair long then cut then long then cut.... *giggle* WHY?

He's...better. However, the last time I talked to him, he didn't remember us having talked about coming out here to California.. He started saying that he never talked to anyone except me about coming out here and would never talk to the family about it...I tried to jog his memory into recalling our last phone call, how he said he talked to my sister and brother about it...it just became frustrating and he ended up putting the phone down and walking away...I could hear him saying "I don't know what he's talking about!!" over and over, fading off into the distance... He's still planning on coming out, but as of right now, he's less than enthused about it all.

Beautiful to see... Isn't it amazing... the creation of life... how two people procreate your existence and you become parts of two seperate beings, into your own. It's strange... I don't connect fully with the images I see (being my biological parents), I just don't.

Past has shown I have both of their tempers. ~Smile. Believe it.

Honestly... these two (below) are my parents who raised me and who I feel created who I am today in a real heartfelt sense. My uncle and aunt raised my sister and I... they gained full custody of us when I was 3 or 4.

This is why I smile today. I love them so much. They are my everything. I have been so emotional lately and in deep reflection. Beautifully so.

I sometimes wonder how much of our emotional make-up is due to nature, and how much is due to nurture...I know there are many characteristics that I posess which I believe I got directly and physically from my father...for instance, his over-analytical mind..lol...and I know I must have received that aspect of myself from him thru conception, his DNA...he wasn't around enough as I was growing up for it to be from his raising me. I wouldn't doubt it at all, if a good part of yourself when you were younger was embedded within you at birth..
