When I was in elementry school I really liked Dodge Ball It was a really fun game to me. You against everyone else and the energy that you had trying to dodge that ball coming at you really fast. Dodgeball that's a fun game. I think between dodgeball and butts up those were my favorite. Anyone else have any favorite school games besides going home and playing doctor with the next door neighbor.

Dodge ball was fun.. especially when you needed to take out your agression.

I liked jump rope.

I wish we could somehow arrange a game of dodge ball here at the org.

I used to like "Spiders and Flies"

Between the ages of 12 and 14 we played these games on our lunch breaks:

One was that you had a deck of cards and every drew a card. Lowest ranked card would get punched on the arm by the other players. The other was some kind of tag. Wherever you were tagged you had to put one hand and everyone playing the game was allowed to kick you. Ofcourse everyone was trying to get your leg so that would make it virtually impossible for you to run and you'd get your ass kicked til the end of the break. For some reason girls never played any of these games.

this is 4 my NYC Ghetto children..... we had a "Skelly" court in school...playin skelly consisted of bottle caps filed with wax...

At recess my favorites were 4 square and chinese jump rope.
In the summer, though, my whole neighborhood full of kids would get together after dark and play capture the flag or kick the can. Those nights were the BEST!!

If you got caught playing that you'd get detention and a letter home to your parents!!

Don't know if you guys played it but it was basically 'kiddie gambling' ( tut! tut! ).
You'd throw/flick coins against a wall and whoever's coin ended up closest to the wall took all the coins in that game!

There were many variants to the game, so the rules had to be confirmed before play to avoid a punch up later
.....All coz we were playing for real dough, you know!

The norm was to play with 1p coins or 2p coin if you wanted to impress the girls .
The 'BIG BOYS' ( ) would play for serious money..... those brand new shiny 5p coins
