Mom put her down Friday. I'm sad. So I went out and bought new Chanel sunglasses. Now I feel better.

Baby was 20....it was very sad. I've had her since I was 8 and she used to sleep in my doll cribs next to my bed. Hence the name "Baby". She had a really gross hot spot on her neck and it got infected. My mom took her to the vet and they thought it could be skin cancer or due to her thyroid problem. She was skin and bones and I could tell she wasn't herself the last 3 days she lived. So I knew she had to be put down.

Sounds silly but that dumb cat was my best friend at times. And the best company ever...she always knew when I was sad and would snuggle up to me and purr. I'm gonna miss her!!!!!

Sorry to hear that.... We had to put my 19 year old cat to sleep almost 2 years ago and it was definitely a sad time....I ended up getting another cat (Cynthia Rose) and she's great!

I live in Cali now, but my parents are back in Colorado so when my mom had to put my cat down, she felt terrible because it was MY cat....she called me crying saying that she didn't want to have to make the decision so I had to reassure her that it was the right thing to do... it's amazing how much pets can become such important members of the family....

When I was in high school my cat was hit by a car and I cried my eyes out, it was terrible

Awww, sweetie I'm so sorry. I know how you loved that cat.

You'll know when the right time is to get a new one.

I had to go thru that 4 times...it's hard.

I used to own 4 cats all at the same time...Shana, Surranne, Razor and Bacon Double Cheeseburger.. Each one had their eventual moment at the vets when it was obvious that it would be more painful for them to keep attempting to live than to put them to sleep.

I made friendz wif da neighbourz cat yesterday evening. Same coloringz as my dog had...black and white...it soundz weird, but i like 2 meow at them (wif a realistic sound ) to get them to get closer...i dont know what i was sayin in "cat language" but...she or he started meowin' right back!! And came and brushed itself continuously up against da gate where i was lookin at it from! Then i let it in my yard and my mum cracked it But it was soo cuuuute!! Ah wellz.
