GO SEE IT! this movie was so much fun! it was everything a flash gordon movie could be today! and yeah, gangstafam, it was very metropolis. right down to the machine woman thing! such a cool film! the only fault i could really find with it was gwyneth paltrow; she was out of her element. everyone else in the cast was great but she didn't have that vampy, glamourous, 40's "thing". i spent a lot of the time (while she was on screen) trying to figure out who else could have been cast in that role to make it better. i was never able to forget she was acting and that's never a good thing, lol. angelina jolie, giovanni ribisi and jude law were perfect for the movie, though! | |

I still haven't seen it!!! Sounds good though! Almost completley positive reviews.

I saw it a few days ago. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
It was cool in a very retro kinda way. I agree with Sassy that Gwyneth seemed out of place, but aside from that, it was damn near perfect! And I'm convinced Joe and Dex are in love, but that's probably another thread. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |
