An animal is just as important as a human life, the only difference is that they are not expected to live as long as us. But the love we have for them is just as meaningful. I'm sorry about your dog... Time heals everything. I have a 10 year old Jack Russel Terrier, I'll sure miss him when he passes away. He's such a big part of the family.

I can't tell all of you enough how much your posts have helped me get through the day. I'm going to print the messages, show them to my husband,and keep them in a folder where I have Oscar's birth and medical information.

Once again, I truly appreciate your encouragement and words of compassion. When I posted this morning, I was pretty distraught, but all of you have made me feel so much better. biggrin
