No...as far as I can remember it did go to Ohio and parts of New England, but not West of Ohio (which is about a third of the way across) and not south of...Ohio? I think. Ohio's at the top about a third of the way from the right.

Anxiety

i was freaking the fuck out at first, because when the rolling blackouts first started, i remember the chicago air show was doing its rehearsals for the annual weekend event and i was sitting at work watching these big scary fighter jet things swooping very close to our building (i worked in the AON building) and i'd totally forgotten about the air show, so when i first heard about the blackout, my best friend lila called me from her job in NYC, freaking out about it, and then i saw the fighter planes, and then i went to my boss' office and said, "um, we might want to evacuate the building" and i told her why...she looked concerned for a second, then waved me off and said "i'll throw together a staff e-mail about it, it'll be fine." eek

of course, she was right. but it still freaked my shit out.

lol, for me at night time it was pitch dark when I was looking out my window. I heard someone yell 2003 blackout and i heard bottles break. My mom had to wallk home from Manhattan, she left in the early afternoon and came back late at night. I was very worried.--In the beginning I was in an elevator and the lights flickered, some lady in a wheel chair was praying a litttle, i was like it's probably nothing. when i got home i realized something was wrong when I had no electricity.( no t.v or internet) mad Good thing there was no reports of people getting hurt. ( i mean mugged or beat up)

I was here in Detroit.....had just gotten back from Georgia....I had to take my son to the doctor. Thank God the blackout happened after I had his prescriptions filled eek Anyway, we had just gotten in bed for a nap when everything shut off. I didn't really care at that moment, but it was hot as hell and we started burning up.

I was on the subway. Luckily I was above ground when the train stopped.

I was freaking out at work (just like Anx) thinking about a possible terrorist attack...then trying to get home was a nightmare. Then, me and my b/f sweated our balls off in our flat and talked with the neighbors smile That part of it was nice smile

I was at work, heading into a weekly meeting. I had caught a bus right away and headed home. I was still living in the city at the time, however when i got to my apartment, i had to feel the walls to get upstairs cause all the lights were out! It was scary as hell!
