Library here. Psyche. There was this stream that used to run through our town (this was the suburbs mind you) and there was a park that was around it. We used to go there and drink beer and stuff. This was ours in high school (but the one in my town... which looked like all the others) VOTE....EARLY

Ex-Moderator | In grade school we'd build forts in the woods. And I always did like the library.
In junior high it was also the library and my friend Margi's house. Her older sister was cool and shaved off my hair and gave us Love & Rockets tapes to listen to. In high school there was this park that had a dam that I used to spend a lot of time walking around in eithe alone or with my friend Kym. And this kid's house whose mom didn't care if we smoked pot in the basement on weekends. And whatever "rave" happened to be going on. And my boyfriend's lime green 76 mustang. |

Once I got out of High School I was missing my friends Kelly, Slater, Jessie, Lisa and Screech so I started hanging out at this other place called "The Peach Pit" with Brandon, Steve, David, Brenda, Kelly, Donna and Andrea and for some reason they kept calling me the black Dillion..... Some of you orgers are so deceptive.....using my styles like a contraceptive....

Sounds a bit Twin Peakish. Did you find any dead bodies or severed fingers? When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

There was a coffee shop in the area that used to have bands play, which was cool when you were like 15-16 because you couldnt get into anywhere else unless you were 21+.
And also the random spot where we could smoke ciggs and not get caught

Deep Ellum (the rock club area in downtown Dallas)-I still go there sometimes, just now it's not near as cool as it used to be-you could walk around, and just enjoy everything. Saw some great shows growing up there. Great little record stores run by guys who speak little english and have the most amazing vinyl collections you've ever seen as well-there's one guy I saw mostly recently that had some pretty rare stuff. More individual shops, clothing, furniture stores-a more bohemian kinda vibe is how it used to be. Now it's gone downhill, too much crime, too many yuppies hanging around. I don't get messed with, but there's been robberies and stuff down there-it used to be all about music and art and just having something different than what was usually out there. I miss it the way it was. You can go home, but it might not be yours anymore... edit. [Edited 9/10/04 5:56am]

In junior high I went roller skating on Friday and Saturday nights. Then in high school we used to climb down cliffs along the Mississippi River and have parties. It was nice because the cops couldnt really get us down there but it was a pain to get our kegs down there and up again!
