Its fun exchanging stuff and getting things in the mail, it makes your day cause someone was thinking of you! With email and messenger its so easy to talk to someone, but sending something via snailmail takes more effort!

All that says is that the person read the thread, not that they were really "thinking" of you. I dunno, I must suffer from some kind of social disorder cause I couldn't care less about getting a card from most people....that includes 90% of the people I talk to regularly at the org. | |

The postcards I sent out were ones that I picked for the people individualy by what I thought they might like from the ones I got. I think this is something that people decided to do cause they wanted to...its just another way of reaching out and communicating with someone that takes more effort than logging onto the org. Why is it such a big deal anyways, if you don't want to do it no one is expecting you to, thats why the people who are doing it are people who opted to, its not like it was made manditory by the org or anything. Just a way to have a lil fun and get something from somewhere half of us may never have the opportunity to ever go visit, thats it. | |
