figures. (pardon the pun) it's made by a japanese toy company...though i kinda think it looks like a cross between jared harris in "i shot andy warhol" and david bowie if he had been in "the matrix".

there's also an 80s andy warhol action figure where he's got a black turtleneck and the spiked-up hair, but i couldn't afford both so i went with the more mod of the two.

Did I tell you that I once did a whole bunch of research on Andy Warhol? Cause I did. I was even gonna write a book in homage to him. But, umm... that didn't go very far and it was kinda stupid.
That toy is the coolest! Next time, pick one up for me!

i read a story once about how studio 54 once did a reenactment of the titanic disaster with a giant papier mache boat crashing into a giant papier mache iceberg...and then the boat cracked in two, eartha kitt stepped out of the wreckage, and then she launched into "i will survive".

In Pittsburgh grocery stores, recently, they were selling a limited edition set of Andy Warhol Cambell Soup Cans. It was like 3 cans of soup in a pack, all with Warholish labels on them. I hinted to my sis that I wanted a set for Xmas this year, we'll see if she gets it for me...
