I would be willing to call tonight and see if I can block some rooms as long as I don't have to leave some sort of deposit. Since there are LOTS of maybes and not lots of confirmed yet (and most of the confirmed already have places to stay) I don't wanna end up losing money or anything.

Oh, definately count me as confirmed. I even have somewhere to stay and transportation. I have a friend who lives in downtown Minni and drives an A6. Hate me now!

MORE HOTEL INFO

Alright, so the Ramada Inn would not offer a group rate for less than 8 rooms, and at this point I don't know that we'd need that many. Their website shows as booked, but there are rooms available for them through expedia.

The Radisson Plaza said they could offer me their Viking Victory deal with rooms for $129 (she wasn't sure how many of those were left, next price up was $149) which includes free parking. I can reserve as many rooms as I like (my guess was 5-6) and as long as I cancel any unused rooms by 6pm the day of scheduled check-in, I won't be charged. One thing to keep in mind is expedia was quoting a price of $119 a room, so it'd be cheaper through them (they probably reserve their own rooms somehow).

The Radisson Metrodome said they were booked, but we found rooms available there through expedia. Cheaper that way too.

So there's that. If people would like me to reserve a set of rooms (for peace of mind) at the Radisson Plaza let me know, but the better deals seem to be coming through expedia.
