It is the hardest, most soul tearing, shattering thing when you FINALLY can leave. I didn't even find the spine to leave- My ex and his guys came over and packed all my things while I sat ina chair in the corner smoking a cigarette and drinking vodka- I was too afraid to help, for fear that I would get blamed for leaving....I was numb.... BELIEVE ME.....I am a STRONG, confident, successful, professional, smart, leader, secure person.... but when it just sometimes happens when you are in a great perfect relationship one day and the next you wake up to a nightmare.... it happened overnight and I was truly in SHOCK.... I couldn't move and was emotionally paraliyzed (sp?) It was COMPLETELY out of character for me.... I am a psychologist for golly sake- I help people who are in this situation.... i was not supposed to be one of those women- but it happens more than you think and it is the hardest, scariest bolt of lightning to hit you!!!!
HELP ANYONE YOU CAN WHO IS IN THIS SITUATION- bring her a plate of cookies, make her smile, help her find herself again..... she proabably has forgotten who she is..... "It's only been an hour since you left me, but it feels like a million days...... I'd crawl on my belly and beg you but you're so far away." ![]() | |
