yesterday was the dutch premiere of MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT. i did the voice acting for the character called SHELDON, a geek in love with Jenny (the robot), because she is...well... a robot ! However in yesterday's episodes my character was not yet featured. i did some of the voices for the mutated rats though, but you can't really hear my voice because of the noise.



the other cartoon i did is called JACOB DUBBEL (Jacob Two Two) and i did the part of DANIEL, the big brother of Jacob:





he is the one with blue hair.

that cartoon will be aired on Fox Kids, but also KETNET has started it recently, but i don't know if they did a Flemish version themselves.

it's like being a whore with your voice in a way though... eventhough they pay quite well, the studios can do whatever they want with your recording. CD, DVD, TV, internet, radio etc as much as they want.

i did a cartoon for Warner Bros. and the contract was ten pages ! i had to give up all my rights.

but i am not complaining, it's just so cool to see a character that 'lives' because of your voice.

I brought in my friend Klary who's a real critic and she loved it !!
Dawntreader cracked her up by telling the audiance, that he was getting, lesbians who were out of the closset but went back in, out again !!
Then as an example he named Mathilde Santing.
I think she couldn't stop laughing, her husband used to be Mathilde Santings boyfriend when she went back in to the closset !!
The musical part was a bit weak, but that was because the other time I went to see them Marijn did 6 or 7 songs and I realy liked that !
Still it was fun to watch and listen to them.
