as for the initial topic you started up, cc, i haven't set foot inside of a church since i was about 9 or 10. my folks made me go to sunday school every sunday when i was younger...a bit after i turned 9 i just decided that i didn't need to go anymore. i always thought it was a bit hokey, y'know, hearin about fire-and-brimstone-and-hellfire every sunday. the way i see it, attending church is totally optional--some folks go every sunday, go to bible study, awana, whatever's clever. thing of it is, if whatever god's around supposedly loves you as you are, what's the use?

if you attend church and are involved in religion, more power to ya. me, i don't feel the need for it.

I go to church hardly ever, last time I was on my niece's wedding and it was lovely. I'm quite religious but I can express my faith whereever I want to, I don't need to be in church to pray.

What I think is that you shouldn't focus too much on the church-thing but concentrate more inside your head. Make clear your thoughts about everything. Church is not the best place for meditation and that's what you need IMHO.

Sorry if I said it too harsh but sometimes I think people think too much sex and religion.

Well now that I don't work on the weekends anymore have Sundays off I think going to church would be a good idea since my spirtuality beliefs is Christian. I actually attended a few times during the summer. I used to as a young girl sing in the Choir. I would like to get back into singing in the Choir only at the church I like to attend practice is during the time I have night classes that can't be rerange to a different time slot.

Do you feel like you need to go to church? Personaly, I don't beleive in God so i don't go to church. The simple fact that your pondering on this tells me that maybe you should but if your a well balanced and happy person, I don't see the need.
