SLEESTAKS ROCK!!!!



I've been watching the Land of the Lost DVDs this week and I think I'm developing a thing for the Sleestaks. They're kinda hot, with their big ol' bug eyes and their green and yellow mitten claws. And the way they hiss...SO SEXY.

Seriously, they were THE premiere party aliens of the '70s. Show them the love.

Yeah, for like one episode - he was beige and he wasn't evil, and he thought that the mean green Sleestaks in the Land of the Lost were his ancestors. But Will and Holly got on his nerves so much that he got pissed off and went back to his alternate dimension.

I loved Land of the Lost when I was a kid! I haven't seen that show in so long.

I always thought the Sleestaks were cool. I also liked those pylon thingies a lot because I liked the multicolored, glowing rocks that were on the walls inside them (if I'm remembering correctly).

I liked that one episode where the dad was stuck in one of those walls, in between time or dimensions or whatever.

I must get those DVDs.

oh man, the DVDs are so cool!!! i'm renting them from netflix right now, but i'm seriously considering buying them. i never watched this show as a kid and i'm making up for lost time.

Sleestaks are the shit! I used to wish they would get Holly's dumb ass for messing up so much. She was worsome! Very Cool! Now if I could just get Sigmond and the Sea Monsters it would be on and cracking! Lots of alcohol and all of my old childhood shows would be way to crazy to see now! Way cool. I am so jealous right now!

i'm kinda partial to dopey the dinosaur, too. i feel like dopey's my dinosaur doppelganger.

I just "Land of the Lost" on DVD a few weeks ago. I used to love that show SOOOOO much! The Sleestaks were great! Y'know that show was REALLY philosophic and well-written for a kids show! I heard that Tenacious D sometimes covers the end credits theme song in concert.
