This show was awesome! Like a less gross Ren and Stimpy Sounds vaguely familiar-do you have any more info on it? Any show with a character named Meat has to be worth watching. Ohhh and I forgot about EEK the cat and the Thunderlizards hillarious shows.....Also Tazmania absolutely excellent! I like all the ones people listed and they are fairly mainstream so I will go into my obscure bag o tricks Bucky O'hare Captain Siemian and the space monkeys MIGHTY MAX!!!!! one of my most favorite shows of all time I loved the concept! It would make a great movie... Exosquad Spiral Zone Macron 1 Voltron 1,2,and the seldom seen 3 Comic Strip Heathcliff (but the ones with the Riff raff and the Cadillac Kats good stuff) Top Cat (pimpin is pimpin is PIMPIN!) Hair Bear gang Grape Ape Pixie and Dixie (with Mr Jinx the cat was classic! I HATE YOU MEESES TO PIECES!!) Heckle and Jeckle (Those 2 black crows who steal corn from this poor farmer) Tijanna Frogs (from the Pink panther show) That is just off the top of my head for obscure stuff Im sure if I think about it I can fill up a whole thread..... Some of you orgers are so deceptive.....using my styles like a contraceptive....

This thread's all about the shows you love, so feel free to fill it up, man. I can't I believe I forgot EEK The Cat! That's one of my all time favorites! Man I miss that show. The sad thing is I think I've seen all these-Voltron is very cool, a lot of the ones from the 70's/80's. Another one I just thought of- Thundercats! I loved that show. You should check out Futurama (especially that one episode I mentioned on your Star Trek thread) and Invader Zim (insanity and chaos, but so fucking funny and bizarre). Futurama's on Cartoon Network now, but Zim's only on DVD. 2 Stupid Dogs and Swat Cats rocked too edit. [Edited 9/3/04 2:36am]

[Edited 9/2/04 20:59pm] All damn good shows, glad people are going back! Speed Racer is the man! Everybody's got great lists! But I forgot a few (these are proabably really obscure): The Snorks (anyone remember them?) The Thing ("Thing ring do your thing...) Star Trek (yes there WAS an animated series) Plastic Man Kimba ( How could I forget this one?!) Aquaman and Aqualad The Batman and Tarzan adventure hour Dungeons and Dragons (the one with the unicorn sidekick, Uni.) "I ordered no broth! subhuman09 said: Tell me your favorite cartoons! It can be anything.
Any era, shows you watched as a kid, shows you got into later, or if you have kids shows you watch with them. My favorites: Futurama-Great animation, writing, voice actors, a classic. Invader Zim-Chaos and insanity at it's best-gotta love GIR. Space Ghost Coast to Coast-Brak is my favorite. Pinky and the Brain-My number one "Where is the DVD?" I loved this show, Maurice La Marche (Great voice actor-played Brain, Egon on Real Ghostbusters, and has been on probably a lot of your favorite cartoons.) Freakazoid-Loved it, why isn't it on DVD? Animaniacs-same as above. Ren and Stimpy-Billy West, a guy you've heard on Futurama, as the Honey Nut Cherrios bee, he does a lot of tv and cartoon work-he did both voices. I miss this. Real Ghostbusters-I was big into Ghosbusters when I was a kid, this show was great before they made it Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters. Had all the toys. Beavis and Butt-head-Need I say more? Aeon Flux-More in the vein of anime, great stuff. Muppet Babies-Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker made this show what it was. Mysterious Cities of Gold-A little more obscure, but a very cool show I remember watching as a kid on Nickelodeon, spanish in origin, hard to find. Garfield and Friends-Great show, with the U.S. Acres stuff in there too. Super Friends-I had the toys. Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist-This really should be on DVD, great comics, great writing, and animation that made you wonder if you were having a mild seizure. South Park-Still holds up. The episode with Robert Smith (Mecha-Streisand) will always be my favorite. Family Guy-Coming back next year with new episodes, and a show that to me is more popular than you'd think given the writing. Cool stuff. Add on to that Looney Tunes (especially Marvin the Martian appearances), and probably tons of stuff I'm forgetting. Anybody else? Futurama Space Ghost Coast to Coast (Brak is my fave too!) Freakazoid The Tick Ren and Stimpy Aeon Flux Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist The Critic South Park Family Guy Looney Tunes Kimba the White Lion Pirates of Black Water (which I can't find anywhere!) Felix the Cat Beavis and Butt-head PowerPuff Girls Dexter's Laboratory Aqua Teens The Simpsons The Flintsones The Jetsons Beetlejuice ALL of the Charlie Brown TV specials

I think the Thunderbirds would fit in just fine, Deb! It's got that crappy puppeteering aspect to it that makes it really endearing. Plus I think certain children's shows have a very animation quality to them in the way they look. Thunderbirds fits in fine. I'm dying to see Team America! Gotta love Matt and Trey from South Park, looks like this'll piss off many people. It looks hilarious! (Love the avatar by the way.)
