First thing to remember: Most people are fucked-up, self-loathing fools whose minds are programmed to seek-out the hard-to-get and reject those who lavish too much affection on them as "needy". Would that "person you love tell you if you are too much"? Probably not. They'll just dump your ass for someone who seems like more of a challenge. That is unless they are that rare person who sees beyond all this nonsense. That said, am I advising you to play indifferent? No. Go with your feelings.
