Barium - Yuck!!! I'm getting a CT scan in two hours and am now sipping on barium sulfate in a not-so-delicious flavor of lemon. Yuck! I keep thinking of gagging after every drink. How does anyone get through this??? | |

it isn't nice but it is the only way to get good picture, the more you drink the better so just think of all the things you will have ruled out or confirmed after the scan.  | |
