3 Hours

I work 9am-1pm and then 4pm-8pm
That lets me go home,have lunch and do the siesta biggrin

I wouldn't accept a job that didn't let me do at least my 1 hour siesta hmph!

Teacher	I take about a two hour lunch break in my bed And I'm as tired when I wake up as I was going to sleep

JDINTERACTIVE	I work in a lovely part of Sheffield which has some really quaint deli's surrounding it. A Greek deli, a fantastic cheese and meat store, a sweet cafe and a butchers! There is also a pleasant park over the road which is nice during the summer months. As such, I like to spend the whole hour I'm allocated. However, sometimes I have a working lunch if I have a large workload.

BlueEyedAngel	I have an hour lunch and sometimes it seems too long. I dont eat on my lunch break though, I usually go out for a walk or go shopping or go sit at the park across the street.

Natisse	yes, I do take my full lunch break usually, sometimes having lunch with a friend or doing errands that I need to do...and sometimes I go for a walk around here... that's Hyde Park you can see from my window where I'm sitting right now...what a beautiful place to work and have a view of

lately I have been taking a full break -- sometimes up to 2 hours. I usually come in at 8:00 a.m., leave around 1, come back 3ish, and stay until 7:00.

today it was an hour and a half.

flexible schedules are gooood! nod

ummm...i only get 40 minutes...so i eat, smoke and then run and pee REEEEEAAAALLL quick so i'm not late getting back to my desk...usually i have 34 seconds to spare!!

i usually take at least 7 weeks of vacation a year. i get 5 weeks paid vacation by my company then we also have this 'honor code' type thing called shift trading...basically its like 'you work September 1st for me and i'll work your shift on October 3rd...' we put it in "THE BOOK", sign and date it and go from there...so i usually work some of my regular scheduled days off and accumulate time and have another week or two off. i really like to travel and try to get away as often as i can....going to Jamaica in December!! yay!

I get an hour lunch so I take half an hour to eat and the other half an hour I try and take a quick nap.

When I was working for someone else, it varied. Some days I'd take a full hour. Some days I'd take more. Some days I'd take less. And there were a few days when I was under an impending deadline and ate at my desk while working.

I was salaried, so I didn't have to worry about punching a time clock. And as long as I spent a reasonable amount of time in the office during business hours, I was pretty much free to come and go as I pleased. What mattered was getting the work done when it needed to be done, and generating enough "billable hours" each year.

lol. thanx Mr. and im still at it, still sales are going thru the roof, onli our store in the region thats doing so well, its fab, anyways, whats ur story on lunch?. bet u have some scrumptious places to eat there....!
