The first teaching day of a brand new school year...and I know all about the issues, headaches and stresses you endured last year. My hat's off to you for the amazing type of work you do with kids who have had terribly rough lives, even when those lives haven't lasted very long so far.. And I truly admire you doing so under the conditions of the school, neighborhood and administraion you have to deal and struggle with.. ...Those kids are fortunate to have you being their guide 5 days a week...and I pray their parents start to see you thru the same eyes.
