So I was hanging out with Purplegypsy and Sassywhateverthefuck last night at this club here in NY. It was 80's night, and being that we are such big New Wave fans, this was perfect.

I had a nice time you guys. Thanks for the alcohol and the silliness.

HEY NWF!! "Twas so cool to meet another orger!! Thanks again for recommending the place...they never played Vanity 6 but I did also request STAND BACK by Stevie Nicks (which of course, Prince played on) and they played that right after...very cool.

You're lucky. I went to an 80s night party at a club in Den Haag last weekend, thinking of course that they would play some Prince naturally. NOT ONE Prince song! Hell, they didn't even play Michael Jackson. Nothing remotely funky at all. I was ready to kill ALL THREE of the DJs there. We made huge signs saying "PRINCE" on them to get their attention, and they all just shrugged and said that they didn't have any Prince.

It's an 80s party for Christs sake! We stayed until 4 a.m. just waiting to maybe hear at least one Prince song, and then left in disbelief finally when we realized it wasn't going to happen.

what a fun night!! the club was very low key and relaxed...well, except for the fight outside with that crazy guy tryin' to kickbox muthaf'ers, lol! nwf, i had a lot of fun. i could've possibly hung linger had the trip into new york not been the journey from hell...damn stupid idea to have the rnc in nyc...duh!

anyhow, it was good time and we'll have to do it again when i'm back in nyc!
