So some friends and I decided to go to Louisville, KY last night to go clubbing. We ended up goning to a neat lil gay bar called Connections and lo and behold, who walks into the "Shower Bar" but Carson from Queer Eye for the Str8 Guy Well, 2 minutes after he walks into the "Shower Bar" we see the theme from Queer Eye playing on the monitors and the music starts blasting, but there is no public announcement made. My friends and I were sitting at the bar watching a "show" and we see Carson walk in with a small entourage, maybe 4 ppl at the most, most of them young men. So i'm blown out of my head at this point and walk over to say hello, suprisingly there is no security for him yet so it was easy to get up close and shake hands and give the obligatory gay "Air Kiss" we talked for a couple of minutes and my friend told Carson that he reminded him of ME? Then he went on to state why, apparently we are both evil, vain, "I'll read ya wordrobe in a minute" fags who everyone loves to hate. It was a great experience. First time meeting TV stars and all. Well, just thought i should tell y'all incase they any other Queer Eye fans out there. Maybe ya should visit Louisville sumtime. The bartender said he and some of the other guys come in there quite often. Maybe Carson is a KY boi, not just a boi.

I have to admit...although I see the "Fab 5" as being the Aunt Jemima set of the gay world, I do watch the show from time to time. They have some good ideas.

But he was very calm last night, didn't flame that much. I was proud of him. I agree the Fab 5 exploit a few stereotypes, but I think they're pretty dignified and respectable overall. If anyone is the Aunt Jemima of the gay world, it's Jack from Will & Grace!!!
