How Strange is this.... This is so weird to me, I had to share with you guys. Ok, so my sons father and I have had a very volatile relationship. We broke up, officially, last October, but for months we still messed around. Anyway, We stopped for good in April after his new girlfriend and I exchanged some words and she basically threatened me and my son. He doesn't see our son that often but he still calls me and acts as though he wants to work things out ( I don't answer his calls).
A few weeks ago I found out that he is doing some construction on my Grandmothers house. Ironically, my washing machine broke and I had to go there to wash While I'm there, his girlfriend pulls up and to my surprise....SHE LOOKS LIKE ME!! But not as cute And get this, her name is Mia My family says that she shows up a lot, kind of like she keeping an eye on him But I couldn't believe that he would actually find someone who looks like me and has a name that's similar to mine. My family calls her Misha #2! Just thought I'd share Smooches;)

Hi, you... I know, I still need to make that call, but... eh, times are "odd" around here and I tend to keep conversations to a minimum with people when things are as they are...
Anyway... I've found that many people do this! My husband did when I left... she looked VERY similar to me, and my re-bound from him looked strikingly similar to him! Thankfully, I didn't grab a nut, as he did... I grabbed a player so I wouldn't care when it ended!

Hi Heather.....You know, I did the exact opposite though. My man now looks NOTHING like my sons father. I don't know, maybe.....subconciously, I did that on purpose
Anyway, I just thought it was very odd.....What if he slips up and calls her Misha instead of Mia.....is isn't that far fetched, you know? She's so stupid though, it probably wouldn't matter Smooches;)

I wouldn't be surprised. But listen to this.....Yesterday, I was there and he kept coming in the house....Acting as though we was trying to play with Erick. Anyway, I kept leaving the room whenever he came in, and Erick kept following me because he isn't very fond of his father So, when he was leaving he made it a point to say goodbye to me, but I didn't respond, so he says, " You're not speaking to me? Do you have a problem with me?" At this point, I'm playing a game on my cellphone....still not acknowledging him....So he says, " That's alright, I'll let you have your fun now, but all good things come to an end." WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?? I thought it was all too funny. Of course, Misha #2 wasn't around. Smooches;)

Friday I went there to take the kids... grabbed a beer, said I was leaving, he said to sit down... I sat. His phone kept ringing, he'd click that little button to stop it and not answer, I'd get another beer, his phone would ring, I'd get up to go, he'd say sit down... lol. This went on until midnight and finally his phone rang again, and it was her, again, and I told him to just answer it. He did, she was HOT, he was calming her down... I walked out and left... lol Now... all weekend he kept calling me for no reason, which I found odd, because I told him I wouldn't be calling him to just "talk"... that it'd be only because of the kids, since I realized he had a girlfriend (wasn't aware of her until I ran into the two of them at the store!!), he said to not stop calling to talk... I stopped. All weekend he kept calling for no reason, finally, Sunday he does it again and I'm like "ooookaaaay"... he calls back and asks if I want to come over and watch the kids play on their bikes, etc... I did. He didn't talk... lol. And, this week, he's all short when I call to actually talk about "kid" things. It's just all too weird when you have a child/children involved and their are other people involved with one, or both, parents.

Wow. So, you do have a lot going on
I agree, it is very hard. It's best to do what's in the best interest of the kids, but in my case....Erick's dad is an asshole most of the time, so that makes it all the more difficult. Smooches;)

Yup. The thing is though, I think he really, really wants to be there, but.....who knows.
I told my aunt yesterday that I think Erick's dad has a demon on him Seriously, you know how people say that babies can see angels and spirits, etc.? Well, I think it may be possible that Erick sees a demon or something on his dad. I can't think of any other reason why he doesn't like his father. He's only 17 months old, but ever since his dad first held him in the hospital, he has cried his eyes out We were in the house yesterday and when Erick saw his dad coming up the porch steps, he bolted like he'd seen a monster....screaming and everything. He doesn't treat anyone else this way I kept telling him to keep trying....keep coming around so that Erick can get used to him, but since things are so weird between us now, it has gotten worse. It kinda makes me feel bad Smooches;)

That happened to me too, WAY back in the haze of my teens... I had been dating my best friend Teddy but he went away to a boarding school in Switzerland and I didn't see any point in keeping the relationship going, but his mom got a shock when she flew down for graduation and found a little taller version of me holding Teddy's hand
I was cool with it, in fact I was a little proud kinda
