I've been HIRED! As some of you know, I've been off of work since January after taking a buy-out clause
that my previous company offered. I've collected unemployment while enjoying spending time with my children and family. Needless to say, I've had a GREAT summer, enjoying a vacation to Niagra Falls, and 4 Prince concerts! 
I've just been hired by a law firm to run their Files Dept... Great company with good benefits. I'm a little nervous because I worked 18 yrs in the retail field, now I've got to make the adjustment to the law field. They have an excellent training program, which I plan to take full advantage of... Just wanted to share the GREAT news... Any advice? Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

 NEWBIES are coming!!! Are you adjusting to a new field, or just a new job in the same
field? Truthfully, learning the LINGO of the law field seem daunting right now...but, I'm bound and determined to make it happen. Maybe I should buy the Law and Order DVD's... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. I was working part-time in the medical records office, and I just got a full-time position as a unit secretary at the same hospital, which is perfect for me because I'm going to school for nursing and I'll get experience on the actual medical unit with my new job but still be able to use my clerical and secretarial experience. God luck with starting your new field! I'm sure you'll pick it up quickly and be great! They hired ya for a reason!  | |
