I always briefly evaluate whether or not someone is "fuck-worthy" in my head whenever I look at them, LOL. It's just an instinct. However, treating people like shit just because they aren't your type is senseless and retarded.

I'm usually kind of the other way around. When I meet people who are noticably uncomfortable about their looks, I kinda want to go out of my way to let them know that I'm not gonna be ignorant to them.

Supa, you know you are one of the reasons that I keep coming back to these boards? You got a great heart dude! Funny thing is, I've been dealing with that with my current beau. My cousin and other "friends" (you know how shallow alot of queens can get) don't get it. I told them there's more to a person that what he looks like, how much $$ he has or makes, what he drives, etc. My guy treats me with respect, is kind hearted, sincere, and just an all around wonderful person for me. Nuff 4 me.

I agree that people really should stop judging by looks, because some of the most "attractive" on the outside people I have seen, have been some of the most truly hideously ugly people on the inside.

The cult of beauty and body fascism is nothing but a big con.

The Brad Pitts and Angelina Jolies of this world are caricatures of what real-life people look like. I bet if any of us were given a team of stylists, personal trainers, dieticians, masseuses, etc., we'd get pretty freakin' beautiful ourselves.

The real secret for beauty is confidence. You can weigh 400lbs and have skin like a cheese pizza, but if you carry yourself like you're a superfly sexgod or sexgoddess, SOMEone's gonna go nuts over your ugly ass, and rightfully so.

Compare this to the so-called "beautiful people" who think they're so ugly they starve themselves and get plastic surgery over and over until they're not only ugly - they're grotesque.

I used to be very insecure about my looks. I'm getting a lot better, but I still have my "good god, I'm hideous" moments that I think everyone has.

Overall, I'm pretty content with myself now though. I'm no raving beauty, but I know I'm not ugly either. Like most of the world, I fall somewhere in the middle, and I'm fine with that.
