Ok my flight comes in at 2pm friday afternoon. SO count me in

Arrrggghhh!!! OK, here's my lowdown. I got hired permanent a year ago in August. At the time I hired in I was informed that I would accrue basically 1day a month for vacation. I've used 4 days this year and when I asked for another day I was told I didn't have any time left. I'm like WTF? :confused: I've been here a year, I have to have more than 4 days accrued.

Well I spoke to the union payroll person and she advised that the only vacation time that I have available for this year is the vacation time that accrued between my hire date in August of last year up through December 2003 and that the vacation time I've been accruing all this year will not become available to me until January 1, 2005!!!! This would mean I'd have to take off 3 days unpaid and right about now I can't exactly afford it.

I'm still gonna try and work this. Maybe I can use sick time because I do have 48 hours worth. Hopefully my boss will work with me on this cuz I wanna go!
