I think it would be pretty arrogant to believe that we are the only "intelligent" life-forms in the entire universe.... I am a person who usually requires physical proof of things, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they are definately out there... and are they here with us..... why do you ask?  | |

Anyone ever see that Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Chase" where they found out that humans, Cardassians, Klingons, and Romulans (and probably countless others) were all from the same genetic gene-pool but evolved on different planets and that's why all the aliens on the shows have the same structure as humans? Cool episode. Make one wonder.... | |

This is always a thought provoking concept.....
My thought is that the Human race needs to get to grips with it's own hangups first..... before trying to cope with the complexities of other life forms..... That doesn't detract from the question though....and there probably are other life forms out there.....and we may never come to contact with them...(perhaps a good thing)..... We after all are aliens to other potential life forms....and who knows what they think of us.  I have a firm grip on reality...Maybe just not this reality  |
