It is mentioned in the song "Blue Light" and in a Woody Allen movie (title escapes me). Green light means "go"; red light district means "hookers"; but what is a blue light? This evokes K-Mart and I know that can't be right.

Some colorblind people reffer to green traffic lights as blue.

blue light is in reffernce to a black light, you know, when it is on in a dark room everyone looks as if they have a "blue" tint? I personally preffer it with a blue light also, everyone always prettier that way.
