does this make you Late for Work or Unable to get out of the house on time? Do you have Rituals before you can walk out? No Matter how early I get up I am always Late for something. I just Cannot get ready Early takes me like 2 or 3 hrs...

i work nights so it doesn't take me any time at all to get ready in the morning, unless i'm getting ready to go to the gym, in which case all's i gotta do is wash out the bedhead and be on my way.

45 min. most of the time. I'm late to almost everything too.....one of my many bad habits. I'm always late because I'm never organized and I'm so forgetful.

I guess I'm just naturaly pretty.

It would usually take me 1/2 hour, but I have to change Althom's diapers constantly so you're looking at more like 2 and a 1/2 hours.

Used to be an hour & a half minimum, I have it down to about an hour now. I HATE to rush, I used to always be late but I'm so much better now. I got tired of beating myself up over being late

No real ritual before I leave - I usually don't eat so I like to at least have a glass of orange juice before I go. It's my nighttime ritual that I gotta stick to...

20 minutes to take a shower and brush my teeth
30 minutes to do my hair
5 minutes to put on some make-up

Putting on clothes varies, it could take me a minute to pull on my clothes if they're already picked out, to up to an hour to figure out what I want to wear.

and whats the point just to get unready again a few hours later

I set my alarm for about 1hr and 15min before I need to leave. I spend 15 or 20 minutes hitting the snooze bar, 20 minutes on hygeine, 10 minutes on breakfast, 10 minutes on appearance (short hair and a mandatory uniform ), and 20 minutes reading, having sex (when a partner is awake and willing, which is sadly rare), orging (like this morning ), catching up on news, or whatever I feel like doing that morning.

I have always needed about this amount of time, ever since I was a kid getting ready for school. I enjoy the times when I get up early and give myself two or three hours, but I almost always prefer to stay in bed, and less time just doesn't work out as far as punctuality.

It takes me almost 2 hours to get ready in the morning. I exercise, shower, blow-dry and flat iron my hair, eat breakfast, get dressed and put on my make-up, get my stuff and leave. School starts at 8:24, I wake up at 6:00, and the buses come every five minutes at rush hour so I don't have to worry about waiting for the bus. I'm only late if I forget or can't find something important (I.D., Cell phone, money, etc.) Which, with my level of disorganization, is almost always.

I'm always late, no matter if i get up an hour or 5 mins in advance, i just seem to stretch my routine so it's always 5mins too long
What i do is, since i'm only 5 mins away from class, i set my alarm the same time as class starts, and then i know i have to rush-rush to be there within 15mins-after-class-started-so-they-will-still-let-you-in (is there a word for in English?). Eating, shaving, showering and all those other silly things are deferred until much later in the day.
Of course, since i'm in college and know by now how it's done around here, i usually don't have to get ready in the morning at all. I love life!
