oprah winfrey makes me physically ill i have been hearing about this "oprah on jury duty" thing for a few days now. i knew immediately that she would incorporate it into a show idea. that's cool, i guess, since that is her career and she draws from her own experiences and everything. today the trial ended...it was a short, 3 day trial...and, of course, the media wanted to know what oprah had to say. this bitch got up and started talking about how it affected her, how it opened her eyes, how she had never been a part of anything like this, how she learned from this, blah blah blah. i'm sitting her thinking "someone is dead and someone else's life is ruined and this bitch can only talk about herself"! is she that fucking far off earth?!? i haven't liked her in years but now i just can't even stand her.
"what is the deal with celebrity that makes people so self important?" - on the next oprah.

When I see Oprah and her fake ass "concern" for things I think of that George Michael song Star people.....She and others like her are on their own planet of self importance.....With all she has gained over the years financially and status wise almost anyone would be corrupted like that too....

see, even that doesn't bother me too much, lol! i mean, prince is on the cover of all his cds what gets me is that she managed to turn something as serious (and NOT OPRAH-ORIENTED) as a murder trial into a self involved spew of egomaniacal proportions. lol, that was kind of redundant but whateva. ok...back to my homework.

You ever notice how quick she is to rush people off the stage when she's done with their "inspiring story"?
"I lost both my limbs trying to save my toaster from a pack of rabid dogs." Oprah: "Here's a FREE toaster from Target! We LOVE YOU TARGET! ALRIIIIIGHT!" "But I have no limbs. How am I gonna use it?" Oprah: "...Next meet the woman who was blinded after saving her children from a burning building. We're giving her a surprise MAKEOVER!!"

Oh, of course. How can the camera not be on her? She's so subtle about it too. Sometimes it's nice to see-like when Stevie was on the show, but I made the mistake of having the TV on when it was Celine Dion from Vegas and you get them holding hands and Oprah singing along teary eyed, doing that weird blessing thing she does when "we" approve.

I have not been able to stomach Oprah fucking Winfrey since her AM Chicago days. I can't stand how she exploits people and how people think she freakin' Jesus or somebody. I can't believe the Chicago Sun-Times has taken up part of the front page and two whole pages inside about this shit. She's a media whore but the public made her head fucking huge. It's all ya'll fault.

i liked her in the color purple
but i'll be forever scarred by the image of oprah doing her stairmaster workout dressed in O+> "emancipation" swag.

I hate Oprah with a passion, and the fact she is responsible for Dr. Phil's fame makes me want to kill that bitch
I liked Rosie O' Donnel so much more, she was entertaining and had better guests and joked around. She wasn't so serious and wasn't fake as hell.

I can't believe Madonna was on Oprah, especially after she insulted her on "truth or dare." I thought Madonna was devoted to Rosie but i guess since Rosie went off Madonna had no choice but to sink down to Oprah's level. Oprah>>>>>

i love OPRAH It doesn't make me sad. It makes me laugh. Whatever, people. It reminds of the words of a very smart woman -- "Life is too short to be bitter. And I'M too short to be bitter!" I LOVE OPRAH. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Me too! I think Op is great. She's the epitomy of a successful woman. She has come a long way and I think that many people are just jealous. I think many would've liked to see her stay fat and fall on her face, but she hasn't! She rules the airwaves and she's one of the richest and most successful people in the world. She does great things for many people including people in other countries. She bought a school for kids to attend in South Africa. When was the last time you heard of anyone doing that? Someone above said she expoilts people. I beg to differ. Hers is the ONLY talk show that doesn't exploit people. She seems to really want to help people and to open peoples eyes as to what kind of life they can have if they educate themselves and stay out of trouble. The haters must all be Springer fans!
