For the Americans - how drunk did you get?



And for everyone else - did you do anything special on that day?

The reason I'm asking is because I'll finally be 21 in one month exactly! I can't wait! I'm probably just going to go out to the bars (which I'm expecting to be somewhat of a letdown) and get stoned.



But it means that soon I'll be able to legally go to all the 21+ Prince parties and events in San Francisco! yay!

I had a group of friends come around to my place and get drunk.
Then we all went out to the clubs.....and got drunk.

For my 21st, I made my own invitationz they were this shiny red/pink paper and i used this swirly design-cut scissors and used plain paper, then this sheer paper with pale pink and these hot pink swirly heartz n shit and it looked realy purty. Anywayz, for my birthday, I had a humungus marquee hired and we had dat in da backyard..blown up baby pics everywherez practically every person I knew from mum'z side since i was a kid came, which was so cool..all my friendz..one of them who was drunk and went around with my mum's shower cap on her head ...I had this beautiful chocolate mud cake as my birthday cake..it had this gorgeous red iceing and was shaped like a big luv heart! My cousin'z friend djyed and we had these Anglo-Indian catererz plus my mama'z cooking...I sang at my birfday in way i'd never sung infront of alotta people i knew before..so they were in a lil bit of shock...i sang "Natural Woman" ...and then after, my cousinz took me to this awful awful night club called Silvers, cause it was my friend'z boyfriendz birfday and for some reason he had it therez and yeah!! IT was pretty full on and very noisy and heapz of fun at my party!! WHOA!!

My 21st was kinda a blur, all I remember (or was told so to speak) was I fell off my barstool and cracked my head on the hardwood floors at the bar, not proud of it but hell it happened

I can't remember that far back..

It was before the crust of the earth cooled...

I went out with friends to First Ave. Had lots of drinks. Then went to another club to dance some more and the DJ was a friend of a friend so he played a silly happy birthday house song for me. Then at around 3am I walked home with a very cute boy. It was fun.

Well I know for sure I didn't drink on my 21st birthday. I think I went to a movie with my friends girlfriend and his mom so it was a party

My girlfriend bought me a ticket to see Primal Scream in London and also paid for 1 night's accomodation in London. This was on New Year's Eve, my birthday being the next day of course.

My friends has a surprise birthday party... We smoked pot, went to a bar called Mr. Lucky's. Danced all night...

My 21st was weird, espescially for me. I only had ONE coctail on the whole of my 21st birthday. See, it was 1995 as the Paisley Parties were just kicking into REALLY high gear, and there was a party the ntie of my birthday. So me, the big ol' lush, stayed sober on my 21st birthday to party with prince at Paisley. Thankfully this was early in the Paisley experience for me. He had some technical problems and cut his set short. Still, I didn't care. Prince had a birthday party for ME. It was quite a magic nite

I had classes all day that day
But i had so much fun,I got lots of gifts

I felt like a princess

It was too long ago to remember.
