Saw it. It scared the piss out of me. Terrifying. Though it was slow...as it's supposed to be, I was on the edge of my seat. I did not expect the ending.

I know if it was my partner and I, we would have killed each other long before the sharks got us.

Anyone else see this movie?

I realized that no one may have seen this yet...cuz it's not out nationwide...just select theatres (One reason to love San Fran)

The ad's on TV are very misleading. Don't expect an action movie or anything like that. It's quite quiet...and that's part of the suspense.

I found it a bit intense though...especially if you end up putting yourself in the place of the two characters. If anyone is afraid to see this movie...go with that instinct. Though I highly recommend it for those that do or want to creep themselves out, as I did.

I enjoyed it, and found it to be entertaining and scary in parts, despite the trappings of its setup. As discussed before in a different thread, I didn't think the acting was any good outside of the water scenes. A lot of people in the theatre were disappointed in the end and I heard a few "That's it?" type groans. Without giving anything away, I didn't see any place else for the film to go without being predictable and anti-climactic, so I thought the ending was a good one. And yes, it's a slow build, but I especially enjoyed the thunderstorm scene. Very well done!

I certainly thought the bedroom scene wasn't acted out properly. I can believe she wasn't in the mood, but the actress wasn't very convincing. Though I think the point was that their relationship has difted to where not even a vacation can help them relax and be with each other intimately. I thought there were parts where the dialog spoke truth, like when he asks her how's she's doing (before they go to sleep). Or when they are brushing their teeth and she purposefully makes him wait to spit...little details.

Many complained that there was little plot and all they do is float in the water. Like you, I couldn't see where any more could be added to make it more exciting...or more than what it was. I found the movie to be an analog of their relationship...not sure if anyone else got this.

Yes the thunderstorm scene was very frightning and well done. Also the choices that are made at the end are very hard to watch.
