AN ORDINARY DAY AT THE BOOKSTORE I

gooey is at work in the american bookstore. in comes an old english lady who is looking for a book. she stumbles around and she decides to talk to gooey who is sitting behind the counter and is eating a donut and drinking coffee.

old lady: excuse me sir, i am looking for a book.

gooey: yes ma'am, which one ?

old lady: well, it's kinda specialist, it's from America...

gooey: what is it called ?

old lady: erm... well... eh...

gooey: it's ok, you can tell me, ma'am.

old lady: i saw it on television

(gooey shows copy of the book he is holding)



gooey: is it this one ? i was just reading it, it's oprah's choice for her bookclub this month !

old lady: thank you, that is exactly the one. you are so very kind.

gooey: you are most welcome

old lady: here is a little something special for you, young man

gooey: but that is 250 euro, ma'am

old lady: goodbye ! no one has been this kind to me since i lost my leg.
