I'm Gonna Learn Russian!

woot!

I finally managed to drag myself off the couch and put myself up for a comprehensive
course of Russian at the University of Maastricht, beginning September 15th!

I can't wait.

Is there anyone else here that can speak/read/write Russian?

Me too. Plus, I want to read Russian Classics in their original format and not any kind of
English or (even worse) Dutch translation.

5 years of high school and college Russian yielded an impressive 2-sentence skill set i still employ whenever i want to impress somebody. loosely translated, these 2 sentences mean "Our mother is going to a recreation center. We are having a quiet breakfast in the morning."

woot! let's hear it for the German education system!

I'm half Ukrainian; I used to spend all my time with my grandfather when I was a child and at the time my russian was quite good (but not as good as a mother tongue), and the more time is passing the less I speak it cuz I don't have many opportunities to practice sad
