i love the part about "dont' complain if he's home late for dinner, or even if he stays out all night." -- so you can freshen up, clean the house, give the kids a bath, bring him a drink, let him relax in the comfy chair, and be a little "gay" for him, and he still whores around... i would have never made it through the 50s! lol

Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.

I've seen this a million times but I've never sen this! shocked

This isn't a wife or equal partner, this is a slave in a dress.

How disgusting.

I wouldn't have made it throught he 50's either.

I am married and any man who still thinks that way need to get a reality check. Women work just as much as men now and technically more cause when we punch out at work then we come home, cook clean do dishes and some of us who have kids have to take care of the kids. Most men when they punch out they punch out. That is it for their day. So if anything we should be the ones pampered.. Cause we work from wake to sleep

Half of what? Depending on which state you get married in there will be lots of assets you will not have any direct right to according to state law even if you don't have a prenuptial agreement.

..and again I say, half of what? Don't assume that half will work out in your advantage just because you read all these "success" stories. If/when the time for a divorce comes you'll know whether or not half will actually be fair in your case. wink
